Cinnamon Rolls and More

Extra Hot Whel Fabric and cupcake stand 002003

I want to share the best bread recipe I’ve ever used.  This recipe makes 101 items. I make this recipe about once a month. It gives us enough dinner rolls for the month, and I freeze cinnamon rolls in four packs for for Sunday breakfast or when company stops by. This recipe will even make donuts. The entire recipe costs about $9.00 to make, but one four pack of cinnamon rolls at Wal-Mart are over $2.00 and 004they taste like they are made with Bisquick..

Three pkgs. of dry yeast

in 1 cup lukewarm water.

Mix in a large bowl:

1 Quart Scalded milk

2 Cups mashed potatoes with no milk added

1 cup half butter and half margarine

1 cup sugar

Let cool to lukewarm then add:

Yeast mixture

6 cups flour

Let stand till mixture foams about twenty minutes

Add 2 beaten eggs

1T salt

11-12 cups of flour

A little more flour may be needed, but dough should be soft when turned on a floured board and knead until satiny. Leave in a warm place till double in size.

For Donuts:Roll out, cut and let rise until double then  fry at 375 degrees for doughnuts.

For Dinner Rolls;Form balls, then set on greased pans, let rise to double for dinner rolls, bake at 400 degrees for fifteen to twenty minutes.

For Cinnamon Rolls; roll out flat and top with melted butter, cinnamon,  brown sugar and raisins, Roll up and cut rolls from the long roll od dough. Set on greased pans then let rise to double . bake at 400 degrees. Bake fifteen to twenty minutes.

Glaze for cinnamon rolls

I lb of powdered sugar

1t vanilla

enough milk to make into glaze consistency.

When cool divide and put into Ziplock bags Then enjoy.
